Pickup guidelines & what to expect from Binee
Set Out By 8 PM
Place your trash outside your door before 8 PM on your scheduled pickup night. Our drivers operate in the early morning hours — typically between 8 PM and midnight.
Door Placement
Place your bin directly in front of your unit door. Do not leave trash in hallways, stairwells, or common areas — only directly at your door. This keeps your community clean and ensures we find your bin quickly.
Bag It Up
All trash must be in tied garbage bags and placed inside your bin. Loose trash, open containers, or unbagged items will not be collected. Bags should be securely tied to prevent spills.
What We Accept
- Household trash in tied bags
- Kitchen waste (bagged)
- Paper, cardboard (bagged or folded flat beside bin)
- Small everyday refuse
What We Do Not Accept
- Hazardous materials (chemicals, paint, batteries)
- Loose or unbagged trash
- Furniture, appliances, or bulk items
- Construction debris
- Biohazard waste
- Items placed outside of your bin
On-Demand Pickups
For instant $7 pickups, have your trash ready at the door before placing your order. Most on-demand pickups are completed within 2–4 hours. You will receive a notification when your driver is assigned and when the pickup is complete.
Missed Pickup Policy
If your trash is not set out by the cutoff time, we cannot guarantee collection. Missed pickups due to late placement are not credited. Consistent issues with access or placement may affect your service.
Bin Care
Keep your bin clean and in good condition. Premium subscribers receive monthly bin cleaning as part of their plan. If your bin is damaged or missing, contact us immediately through the app.
